Giles Shenton - Artistic Director

  Giles Shenton has a long & successful track record of theatre production and has 

worked as a producer with 

Kick In The Head Theatre Productions 

Theatre2u and for himself with GSP.

He is also a highly acclaimed actor and has most recently been in the national touring productions of Old Herbaceous, 

Three Men in a Boat, Fagin?, 

Much Ado About Falstaff and 

The Haunted House.

He is also an accomplished director with productions such as Barnum (in the Big Top), Little Shop of Horrors & 

The Haunted House to his name. 

He is an innovator in touring small-scale theatre productions to local theatres, arts centres, and village halls. He has extensive knowledge of this market and currently has 27 different shows touring at over 150 venues across the UK with GSP. He has also worked extensively with various rural touring organisations throughout the country.

In addition to touring theatre, he represents artists in contract negotiations, programmes live performances for other venues, operates a design service for marketing products, and offers website creation and management services. 

Giles’ previous experience includes working in the West End in theatre production and backstage, programming and contracting productions for a theatre venue in Surrey, and holding managerial roles in private companies and the Civil Service.
